This service combines Microneedling (the insertion of very fine short needles into the skin for the purposes of rejuvenation) and Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)

Platelet-rich plasma is blood that contains a high concentration of proteins, or growth factors, that have regenerative effects on the body at a cellular level. PRP is often used for its healing purposes and to regenerate new tissue for those with injuries or chronic conditions like arthritis.

First, blood is drawn from your arm, just like when you need a blood test. Then, your blood goes into a centrifuge where the platelet-rich plasma gets separated from the other components. Next, you undergo the microneedling treatment in which a handheld device punctures microscopic holes in your skin.

In the last step of the treatment, we apply your PRP blood directly to your skin to further stimulate the natural healing process and to promote new collagen growth. Afterward, your skin will be slightly pink as if you have a sunburn. Most men and women recover completely in 1-3 days.
